Start Yianni, Nick Lee & More on Fantasy Fight League

Start: Yianni D 149 (Cornell)- You gotta start Yianni D. The man sits at a perfect 15-0 and still #1 in the entire country at 149lbs. Abas and Lovett have been the only two to give Yianni some trouble this season. However the Abas match was right at the beginning of the season and Lovett was at Cliff Keen. We have been moving along into the second half of the season and Yianni in his last 4 bouts has 4 falls! Look for Yianni to pick up the bonus points as the Cornell Big Red Take on Princeton!

Start: Nick Lee 141lbs (Penn State)- I think we all saw what happened at the dual when Penn State went into Iowa and stole the show! Nick Lee did what he did per usual and in a rematch of last years NCAA Finals he again showed us why he is the #1 ranked wrestler at his weight in the country! Penn State now is host to the Ohio State Buckeye’s on the 4th of February. Ohio State will probably send out Dylan D’Emilio and even though Dylan is extremely tough and can hang with anybody. With the environment being at home in Happy Valley and the Nittany Lions coming off a huge statement win in Iowa last week. Look for the place to be intense and super loud. This will play a factor for certain. Nick Lee will be hype in front of the Home Crowd and look for bonus points! Gotta roll with Nick Lee!

Start: Carson Kharchla 165lbs (Ohio State)- The entire country was put on notice when Carson knocked off Marinelli in the dual against Iowa. Everybody knows that this young man is “For Real” now! This man is on a mission. On top of that, this weight class in particular is one of the weaker parts of the Nittany Lions line up. Look for Carson to be extremely physical and dominate in his bout when he goes up against Brady Berge. It was too easy to pick Carson here in this situation. You gotta start him!

Start: Vitali Arujau 125lbs (Cornell)- I know , I know . You’re probably thinking why in the world would this guy start Arujau?! Well for one, we have seen Glory just flat out “Not make weight” this season when he was slated to possibly wrestle Spencer Lee. Now with an Ivy League School coming to town in Princeton’s own gym. Will he in fact wrestle against Cornell or will we see someone else out on the mat? I felt I had to go with Vitali Arujau for the sole fact that he sits at 8-0. Nearly all is bouts are finished by Tech Fall or Major Decision. He has some of the best drill partners in the entire world working with him. None the less, he has a vast knowledge. Arujau is so incredibly talented and I love this match up with Glory or not. I think this is the time of the year where possibly the #3 gets taken out by #4. Or are we going to have to wait for the conference tournament to see this match take place!

Start: Michael Kemerer 174 (Iowa)- After a tough loss last Friday to Carter Starocci. Look for Kemerer to bounce back with a big win when the University of Wisconsin comes to town and takes on the Hawkeyes. The Hawkeyes lost in Carver Hawkeye Arena last week and they are going to for certain want to show the rest of the college teams that they may have lost but they are for sure going to still dominate the rest of these teams no matter who steps across from them! Kemerer will be going up against a tough Andrew Mcnally who sits with a 7-5 record. Michael Kemerer wins big and gets the bonus points. He has a potential total of 20 Pts with FFL so why not rock with the guy!
